Gear List: Overnight Shuttle Trip

We are heading out on a quick 14 mile overnight on the Upper Colorado, and I thought I would make a list of overnight gear that anyone could expand upon. This is our bare bones overnight shuttle gear, mostly comprised of our backpacking gear and a few “luxury items” we usually only get to use truck-camping. Don’t worry if your camping gear is bigger than ours, like I mentioned before, a lot of these items cross over into backpacking gear for us! Shuttle trips are the best time to enjoy all of the camp luxuries! While portaging is easier with a lighter boat, we portaged boats with 5 days of food and water no problem, so don’t stress too much about the weight unless you’re reaching the boat’s limit.
